Update: I followed the generic response to email the agency. The automated response on that email gave a local phone number. It forwards to the 1-800 line. Shouldn't have to drive to the office to speak to an agent from it.

Every time I try calling the office, it's redirected to a 1-800 line, which doesn't have a callback feature. After waiting to speak to someone at the call centre, they confirmed that all Allstate offices now forward their office line to the call centre.
Requested a call back from an agent... after several days, did not receive a call.
I had referred others because of my ability to speak with the same agent every time. Really appreciated the personal touch.
Disappointing to see that disappear, confirmed by the response to my review, asking customers to send an email so they can call back at their convenience.

I went to inquire about landlords insurance for my fourplex. The receptionist told me I should get commercial insurance for it even though I don't need it. Never got to speak to a broker. Seems they were more interested in their smoke break than speaking to me.

I cannot express my frustration enough. Their service has been absolutely appalling! We filed a claim for hail damage to our property, and we provided them with clear and undeniable evidence to support our case . Despite hiring our inspector to show vivid evidence, they denied our claim without any valid reason. It feels like they deliberately turned a blind eye to the evidence just to avoid paying what we rightfully deserved. With a premium of almost $2,000 for 20+ years without ever filing a claim. Dealing with their customer service was a nightmare as well; they were unresponsive and indifferent to our concerns. This company’s lack of integrity and accountability is beyond disappointing. I strongly advise against trusting all state, try a safer protection with another company for your insurance needs. They’ve left us in a terrible situation, with flood and Mold appearing throughout the entire property. Wewill be seeking alternative insurance options as soon as possible.
