I have been a satisfied customer for over 5 years. Recently while navigating an update to home insurance due to a move I experienced unanticipated hiccups with the update. Staff were attentive and ensured that all issues were rectified in a timely manner. They went out of their way to call an multiple emails ensuring all my concerns were addressed. To top it off the pricing of the plan remains up incredibly competitive.

I have been with Allstate for 10 yrs and lately everything has gone terribly down hill, including trying to add vehicles to my existing account, you wait on hold for 4 plus hrs got hung up on many times. Then when dealing with a claim, so many stresses. Would not recommend

We contacted Ethan Reed from Allstate for our insurance this year. He was extremely helpful in finding us coverage to suit our needs and saved us thousands of dollars as well. Highly recommend him for all your insurance needs!!

Wish I could rate this zero. I have been trying to contact ANYONE at Allstate for over a month now and no one has gotten back to me. I’ve tried using the Allstate app and none of my requests are saving/going through. I can only imagine what it would be like for customers who have been in collisions; I just have a simple policy revision to make. They’re happily pulling money from my account every month, but I have yet to be contacted after various calls and emails. I even tried to contact agents that I dealt with last year, and they have all moved on from Allstate. I can see why.

I had a bad experience with Allstate but I realize it is not the Saint Albert Branch. I am removed my original post here and applying it to the proper branch- the Edmonton North-Namao Agency on 97th Street.
However, the problem with that branch might not be branch specific because my sales lady has been trying to help me get answers but she cannot even get the answers for me, from her own company! I cannot get anyone on the phone- I wait for over a half hour no one ever picks up. No one has called me, and no one has emailed me back- even when use the main phone lines or fill a form out online.
Allstate raised my insurance with no reason by almost $30 a month, and they didn't send me my renewal documents until almost a month after the term renewed- so I was unaware of the price change and now I am locked in for a year. I have been trying to get answers from them since late February. Despite multiple attempts, I have received no answers from Allstate. As I said, even my sales person has tried to get me answers but no one internally is responding to her either. Allstate is a TERRIBLE company. I am looking for a new insurance company.
