I am writing this review for my 75 year old mother. She has been paying for roadside service for the last 6 or so years. Never once has she had to use it. On 16 March she required that service. I had called to have a tow truck show up to her place to tow her car to a shop. The rep told us she couldn't get a tow truck until Monday. We told the rep that is not acceptable. The rep than told us she can pay for a tow truck and she will be reimbursed up to $175.00. She paid for the tow truck and submitted her receipt on 19 March. She contacted the Belleville office to confirm they received it the following week. She was told 4 to 6 weeks to receive her money back. It has now been 3 months and still no word. She has called several times to find out the status and all she gets is a run around from employees. What kind of company rips a senior citizen off. I will be instructing her to cancel her roadside assistance and will be looking at a new insurance provider. What a terrible experience this woman has had. I will provide an update based on Allstates response and how they handle this.

Not much help, called the 1800 number in discussing my renewal rate, he basically said it's best to call my local agent. So I said thanks and called Belleville, I assume because it was 430 on Friday they didn't want to deal with me, and then promptly transferred me back to the long waiting cue of the call centre. I just want a simple question answered!!! Why the run around?!
