Terrible service. I was on the phone for 5 hours waiting. I even drove to another town with an office and it was closed. i stayed on the line till I got home. i used the house phone to call all the other numbers that were left on the door. I sent an e-mail and have not been contacted as of yet. I am so displeased I have taken the vehicle away from there company. Next will be the house, boat and other truck. saying goodbye to Allstate! POOR POOR Customer service.

It's extremely difficult to have someone answer your phone call. I have been trying to call Allstate for 5 days at different time, but it always let you wait... tried to go to the local office, but it's closed for maintenance. The customer service becomes worse and worse!

I have been with Allstate for over 12 years. All I can say is their customer service has heavily declined.
My rates significantly increased upon renewal. It takes you forever to even get through to call someone. I switched to another company as they were able to offer less than what I was paying before my renewal rate for the same coverage.
I called Allstate on May 2nd giving them plenty of time to stop payment for the renewal. The payment was not stopped and still came out of my account May 16th.
When speaking to someone, they advised me it would take them 3 weeks to return my payment. This is totally unacceptable as I did my part & called them prior to even receiving my renewal notice in the mail.
Many of my friends and family have switched from Allstate because of similar issues regarding their customer service.
Stay very clear of Allstate, do not recommend. They are not who they used to be.
